A little bit about us

The Shoalhaven Medical Association was founded over 50 years ago.

The purpose of the Shoalhaven Medical Association Incorporated is to enhance healthcare provided to the Shoalhaven community.
It does this by supporting medical education and professional networking opportunities for the Shoalhaven’s medical professionals and trainees.

We are an independent, not for profit organisation run by a committee of local doctors.

The SMA is dedicated to the continual education of doctors in the Shoalhaven region, and to provide support to all our colleagues.

Each year the SMA runs two popular medical conference for GPs and specialists, nurses, allied health workers and medical students. These conferences are free and are funded by sponsors and SMA subscriptions.
